Common Land: Septenary Perspectives
15 April 2026 – 12 July 2026
Seven perspectives, bound by a mutual reverence for natural form, fragility, and transformation.
As artists, we see Common Land not only as a reflection on the physical terrain, but as an exploration of the emotional and ancestral ground we all, in some way, inhabit and perceive through our chosen medium.
This exhibition delves into our collective and personal relationships with place — the textures of earth, the rhythms of tide, and the slow, unspoken histories embedded in stone and shoreline. Each artist draws from a common well of material and metaphor — clay, earth, salt, water — offering an individual perspective on the layered narratives of land.
Artists: Dave Binns, Judith Davies, Caroline Hudson, Patricia Millar, Claire Orange, Patricia Shone, Kathryn Stevens
