Community Art Club

A free 10-week creative programme at Farfield Mill

Would you like to try something creative, meet new people and enjoy some time doing something for yourself?

Our Community Art Club is a free 10-week programme designed to help adults build confidence, support wellbeing and connect with others through creativity.

Taking place in a friendly and supportive environment at Farfield Mill, each week will offer the opportunity to explore different art and craft activities, try new techniques and discover the enjoyment of making.

You don’t need to be artistic or have any previous experience. The emphasis is on having a go, enjoying the creative process and spending time with other people.

What to expect

Over the 10 weeks you will:

  • Try a range of different art and craft activities
  • Learn new creative skills and techniques
  • Meet new people in a relaxed and welcoming setting
  • Have time each week to focus on something enjoyable and creative
  • Be supported by experienced artists and makers

Who is it for?

The Community Art Club is for adults who feel they would benefit from greater confidence, improved wellbeing, meeting new people or simply having a regular opportunity to get out, be creative and connect with others.

No previous art or craft experience is needed.

The programme is completely free and there are 12 places available.

As places are limited, we are asking anyone interested in taking part to complete a short Expression of Interest form. This isn’t about artistic ability – it simply helps us understand a little about you, why you would like to join and what you hope to get from the programme.
