Survivor – Maria Eugenia Corbella

This quilt is entirely designed by me, inspired by a “Steam Punk” style aesthetic. In this quilt I want to express the need to stop the pollution that is devastating our oceans. Time is against us and only those who adapt to the new environmental conditions will survive, like the fish of my quilt, sad, adapted to a devasted ocean full of metal. As a biologist I create quilts with the aim to make people aware of nature.
