Emily Close – The Northern Silver Co.
Founded in 2020 by Emily Close, The Northern Silver Co. is a small independent silversmith in the heart of Northumberland focussing on sustainability, while crafting bespoke pieces finished to the highest standard.
To create her beautiful pieces Emily uses many ancient techniques, such as granulation and ingot casting, along with newer and self-developed techniques. Her designs are inspired by the metal’s natural forms with added pops of colour from the sea glass and stones that she sustainably sources from other local businesses.
