Dreaming on the Universe

HYUNJUNG Song

The first film I watched in a cinema was ‘ET’. As an adult I still enjoy science fiction, especially the more recent film ‘Interstellar’. Using these two films as inspiration I wanted my work to express a child’s excited dash towards space with ET, but also with the adult feeling of leaving loved ones and family behind, with the thought that they may meet somewhere in the universe.
