Annie Schnapp

I’m a self-taught linocut printmaker working mainly in reduction print for the past decade. I work in small editions, rarely more than ten. As well as the landscapes and nature of my part of south west Scotland, I return often to images of glasshouses and their plants.
I’ve recently been influenced by the animal linocuts of Norbertine Bresslern Roth and this, together with watching my own graceful hound, has led to this year’s outpouring of whippets.
