Farfield Mill Textile Competition 2026/7 – Lasting Threads

Lasting Threads invites you to explore sustainability in textiles through material, process, and meaning. You are encouraged to consider how textiles can embody longevity, responsibility, and storytelling. Your work may respond to environmental concerns, cultural traditions, personal narratives, or innovative approaches to sustainable design.

Submissions are open to artists of all backgrounds and levels of experience. Artists must over the age of 16.
Application to enter the competition will open Tuesday 1 September 2026 and close 7 January 2027.
Submission fee £20 per entry.
