Xolotl Blue – Michael Rohde USA

Michael’s approach to tapestry is to work within the grid of the woven structure. Rather than a pictorial representation, he works to produce snippets of colour that reflect the original image on which a given piece is based. This tapestry comes from photos taken in Oaxaca, Mexico.
