Most recently I have taken to working in encaustic which is a wonderful medium for creating a multitude of textures from smooth and glassy to the roughest bobbling.
Where a few decades ago my work focused on growth I more recently find myself interested in death and disintegration. I’m not sure if that’s an age thing or linked to working for the last 11 years in a hospice?
My work is an attempt to share the beauty of fragile endings.
