Three-Legged Crow in the Sun
Kyung Ah CHO
South Korea
The three-legged crow was the national bird of Goguryeo, one of the ancient dynasties of Korea. It signifies the sun god and represents the three legendary founders of Korea. It was considered a good omen connecting the gods of the sky to the world of men. In this work I wish to share the spirit of the people with the current generation of Korea living in contemporary times.
