For the past few years I have been exploring ‘Sense of Place’ themes in my work. Pre-pandemic travels to India and pandemic experiences in my own garden are represented in these expressive fabric collages. Colour and embellished with free motion machine stitching. Bringing the joy of colour to life during a period of dark days has provided real uplift at home and I hope this communicates to the viewer.
