Inspired by Simone \Well’s book ‘Gravity and Grace’, I attempted to visualise two antithetical forces. In Well’s vocabulary, gravity represents a force that draws the human soul downwards, while grace, as opposing one, uplifts it. As a symbol of the opposite things that coexist, I depicted the image of water coming down the window: liquid and solid, up and down, flow and pause, action and reaction, concrete and abstract, merge and separate, push and pull, and yin and yang.
