Sarah Louise Graham – Textiles

Textile artist, Sarah Louise, lives on a working farm in Bothel, Cumbria, on the edge of The Lake District National Park, where she makes her beautiful appliqué designs in her shepherd’s hut in the garden.

Sarah’s passion for watching the hares that live on the land above the farm led to the creation of her first cushion – a moongazing hare, still a favourite and most-asked-for design.

Sarah Louise loves working with different types of tweed and woollen fabrics, as well as incorporating yarns into some of her creature creations — using vintage and new materials means that each of Sarah’s creations is a ‘one-of-a-kind’ item.
