Sarah Keast
Sarah Keast works in printmaking and mixed media to generate art, which is a response to a sense of place, her inner world and imagination. Sarah worked as a geologist in conservation before retraining as an artist.
This background influences her creative process.
She combines collograph and screenprinting with drawing, painting and sculpture.
Most of her work takes the form of unique artworks, not editioned prints but printmaking is an ever-present form of mark making. Alongside making fine art Sarah also teaches Art for
Wellbeing classes for adults and young people and makes textile-based lamps, cards and homeware. She lives in SW Scotland where she works from a garden studio.
