Ruth Makes Jewellery

Snuggled amongst the West Yorkshire Pennine landscape, Ruth’s home and surroundings provide the perfect inspiration for Ruth Makes Jewellery. Ruth Sutcliffe and her partner Jez Coates, create unique handmade recycled silver jewellery to reflect the love they have for the moods of their local landscape, wildlife, and the antics of their pets.  Natural shape, form and drama appear in oxidised landscape, woodland, and hedgerow pieces. Jez has expanded his style to include runic and Norse themes seen in his new etched work. He loves to experiment with hand casting, and more recently etching.
