Julia Preston – SulikoSoul – Jewellery

From my studio in Bolton I create distinctive, abstract patterned anodised aluminium jewellery, using ink resist and dye submersion techniques.
I take inspiration from botanical and floral patterns for my abstracted designs. I create a mixture of small collections together with some one-off pieces. If you are not already familiar with anodised aluminium, it is a lightweight and versatile medium with a beautiful subtle sheen that pairs well with sterling silver findings.
