This work was inspired by the fairy-tale Alice in Wonderland that I loved to read as a child. It has been an inspiration for me to draw, paint, and to study art. I created my Wonderland through the technique of applique, creating patterns on the fabric to create textures with space and dimension with quilting techniques to bring back good memories of happiness and fun from my childhood.
