Fishing Island

This work was inspired by the book “The Island of Sea Women” by Lisa See. The book depicts the life of women on the Jeju Island at the north of the China Sea, who work cooperatively, fishing and living off what they catch. The women fish while the men take care of the children. They are a close-knit community where everyone is doing their share for the greater good.
