Enchevetrement – Genevieve Rog Bonniot – France
Near home there is a forest growing wild, every species fighting for space and light, vegetation developing into an inextricable tangle. Wandering across this undergrowth I was moved how beautiful this could be and decided to quilt this wild forest in a wild way. No careful cut fabric, invisible sewing or quilting with wise lines. Rather I laid down all kinds of materials and sew it away from standards, just like vegetation is growing.
