Elemental – Caroline Goodrick
Work showing the metamorphosis of elements used in building and machinery. As the elements decay with the exposure to water and air beauty is found in rust and Verdigris. This work developed as a result of a technique taught by Anne Brook. It spoke of the beauty of decay. The colours used highlighting the elements of water, air, combining with metals to produce rust, Verdigris. This is the metamorphosis of elements of a building and the machinery contained therein.
