Contours of Cat Bells – Joanne Briffett UK
This work was inspired by the beautiful colours and textures of the Lake District fells Joanne observed while on holiday last autumn. It represents the contours of the hillside and illustrates the changing colours of the vegetation. The boundaries of this work are defined by natural and manmade features – Derwent Water lake, the river Derwent and the well-trodden green footpath the ascends the ridge line of cat Bells.
