Bremen Town Musicians

The quilt is my artistic take on the Grimm Fairy Tales story ‘Town Musicians of Brenham’. This fairy-tale was my favourite as a kid. Mom would read stories to my sister and me before bed every night, and we would ask her to read’ Bremen Town Musicians’ – that’s what we called it, even though the actual title is a bit different – again and again. We loved how the animals win and scare the thieves away from the house. Animals are real life underdogs, but in this story, they definitely came out on top.
