Breakdown printing. Hand dyed with Procion MX dyes.

A warm colour palette and areas of solid colour are used to calm a potentially chaotic process, breakdown printing, of applying Procion MX dye, called breakdown printing. Raw edges keep the piece informal despite its structured construction. This is an engaging artwork with interesting areas of detail to observe.
