Born to be Wild – Verena Giavelli – Italy
With this art quilt I wished to represent, in an abstract way, the wild part that exists in every human being and emphasis its importance. Recognising and accepting our wild side reminds us of what it means to be human, brings us back to our true essence and to our real nature. We were conceived by two forces a spiritual one and a more wild primitive and exuberant one; it is essential to recognise, accept and respect them both, trying to find a balance between the two.
