Magical Misty Morning – Karen Milne – France
This is a scene of an early spring morning as the mist lifts over a river. Kingfishers fly rapidly over water hunting fish from riverside perches. These ‘wild and untameable’ birds are endangered due to pollution or poor water management. Also known as Halcyon kingfishers symbolise peace, tranquillity, prosperity, abundance, and love.
