Yonat Michaelov (USA / Israel) – Water in Scorched Land
Nature is my muse, my designer, and my refuges. In central coast California, unceded territory of Awaswas, we have had epic fires in the last few summers. This little waterway flows through an area that was burned so badly in the fire of 2020. Pascadero Creek and Butano Creek join together and create a beautiful body of water, symbolising hope. The water supports so much life. There are no major rivers where I live, and water is precious wherever it is.
