Nestled at the foot of the Howgills, Farfield Mill is surrounded by beautiful, tranquil countryside. Enjoy a stroll to Garsdale Bridge and see the river Rothay flowing beside the Mill. Or relax with a coffe and piece of cake in The Tea Room on Level 1.

Accessibility

We aim to be as accessible as possible. We offer the following facilities and services to help you make the most of your visit. The main entrance to the Mill is accessed via a ramp. There is also a lift to all levels and disabled facilities on each floor. Chairs are dotted around the mill for little breaks and to take in the view. 

Parking Facilities - Free disabled parking is available adjacent to the Mill.

Wheelchair Access - The Mill has a lift to all floors and there are no steps on any floor.

Toilets - Level access toilets are available on all floors.

Assistance Dogs - Guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome.
