TADesign was started by designer, Tomoko Alderson, who was born in Japan, where she studied fashion and textile design before working in the fashion industry for many years.

In 2001, TADesign launched the Mrs. Alderson England brand, offering textile products such as dresses, hats, bags and home accessories. They are made from a variety of high-quality textiles including Liberty Prints, Japanese kimono fabric and Harris tweed.

Since 2006, Designer, Tomoko Alderson, has been exploring her design field from "Fashion" to "Art  & Crafts"

Natural dye - products using natural dyes from local sources, employing the 'Organic Screen Print' method

CO-LABO - products in collaboration with other artists

Recycled fashion - products made from remnants and recycled materials

Since 2007, Tomoko has worked for companies as a freelance designer and production consultant.

Since 2008, Tomoko organises "Sewing Circle" -- an exhibition for sewing enthusiasts.
